MOVE DC: Because your voice IS power

Did you know children are being abducted into war and forced to kill their parents and terrorize others?  If you didn’t know, I hope you take a few minutes to consider the work of Invisible Children and get involved because they are coming to DC THIS SATURDAY NOV 17!!

It is called MOVE DC.

It involves youth, like YOU.

It will show world leaders that we want them to capture Kony and stop the killings once and for all. We can bring an end to this war.

Without getting into too many details and because the amazing people at Invisible Children do such a great job communicating everything you need to know about Joseph Kony and the LRA’s abduction of children for war, all I have to add is this:

Here is more on MOVE DC:

Now, what are you waiting for?  Come out to DC this Saturday Nov. 17. Wear the KONY shirt or make it at home. And finish off a historic day of advocacy with a huge dance party.

  1. Very good site you have here but I was wanting to know if you knew of any message boards that cover the same topics talked about in this article?
I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get comments from other knowledgeable individuals that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Many thanks!

    • Hi Adam,
If you are looking for message boards, I can’t point to any that I know of but I would recommend you go to the source: Invisible Children. Another similar org is Children of Uganda. These are address child-soldier/war-torn areas and they have been doing so for almost 10 years.
      Hope that helps!
